Russia, China veto UN resolution on Syria

AP - Russia and China vetoed a U.N. Security Council resolution aimed at ending Syria's bloodshed, despite international outrage Saturday over a devastating bombardment of the city of Homs by President Bashar Assad's forces. Activists said more than 200 were killed in the bloodiest episode of the nearly 11-month uprising.

Storm goes east after dumping on Colorado

AP - A stretch of Interstate 70 reopened Saturday morning, after near-zero visibility had forced officials to close all 160 miles of the westbound lanes between the Kansas state line and metro Denver and a 70-mile stretch of eastbound lanes from metro Denver to the plains town of Limon.
